Government of Canada Is Not Pursuing Justice for Victims of Flight PS752 March 31st, 2021
March 31, 2021- Toronto, Canada – ICHR strongly believes that the government of Canada is not taking serious steps in pursuit of justice for the families of the victims of Flight 752 and holding Iranian regime to account. “The Families Of The Victims Demand Justice.” We Firmly Call on the Government of Canada to take serious action to bring justice to the families of the victims and to condemn the Government of Iran in practice, by taking the case to the International Criminal Court of Justice and the UN security council, and to refrain from political games. “The Government of Canada has not taken a firm stand up to this date following the publication of the final report of the Islamic Republic on Flight 752, which is clearly intended to cover up the truth behind the shooting down the airplane and mislead the world.” Said Ardeshir Zarezadeh, ICHR director. “All the remarks of the Ministers of foreign affairs, Mark Garneau, Transport, Omar Alghabra, and the Prime minister Justin Trudeau as well as the reports published by the Canadian government are still asking Iranian regime to be transparent in their reports even though the Iranian regime has already published its final report.” Added; Ardeshir Zarezadeh, ICHR director. The reservation to take serious firm action for Justice by Canada is sending a noticeably clear message that the government does not want to take serious steps for 55 Canadian citizens who have been murder by the order of the regime in Iran and IRGC hands. More than 14 months have passed since the shooting down the Ukrainian airplane and justice has not been served, and the process of justice has been continuously delayed with political games. “Where is the justice” “Instead the families of the victims are harassed.” “As well as Threaten” “Canada must stand for Justice and Establish an independent legal team in Canada for flight PS752 Immediately, Instead of their poor response to the final report on the TSB and at the State Department.” Said; Shahin Moghaddam Canada should list the IRGC as a terrorist group, and sanction Iranian government officials. It is time for the Canadian government to deploy RCMP as soon as possible to open criminal cases. And refrain from being indifferent.” Added; Shahin Moghaddam He also added; “ The use of the word “alleged” in regards of this heinous crime in Mr. Omar Alghabra’s tweet is sign of not taking the issue of human rights abuses seriously.” For more than 42 years, the Iranian government has been increasingly committing rampant discrimination, illegal imprisonment, kidnapping, abduction, poverty, rape, murder, execution, creating social or political anomalies, as well as terrorist crimes inside and outside the country. And thus, terribly increasing its dictatorial ruling. The 176 innocent people who were cowardly murder by the agents of the Islamic Republic is one of the many terrorist acts done by the government of Iran. ICHR continues to fight and advocate for the families for justice, and strongly urges that the Government of Canada to seek justice and transparently and condemn the regime in Iran for the murder of the passengers of Flight PS752 and take the case to the International Court of Justice and UN security council.
